Ana last night took part in a special exhibition match in aid of Felix Mantilla's foundation against skin cancer. She said: "It's always fun to take part in a charity exhibition. I enjoyed playing with Rafa and it seemed like everyone had fun, including the spectators. Sometimes it's good to get on the court and relax and mess around a little!"

Ana last night took part in a special exhibition, on the eve of the Mutua Madrid Open, in aid of the Felix Mantilla Foundation against Skin Cancer.

Among the highlights of an entertaining evening was a brief doubles contest in which Ana teamed up with men's world No.1 Rafael Nadal to take on women's world No.1 Caroline Wozniacki and Spanish favourite Carlos Moya.

Ana said: "It's always fun to take part in this kind of event. I enjoyed playing with Rafa and it seemed like everyone had fun, including the spectators. Sometimes it's good to get on the court and relax and mess around a little!"

Ana is in action at the Mutua Madrileña Open ,. The 23-year-old is seeded 15th and consequently and against Bethanie Mattek - Sands in the first round.

She will play either Nadia Petrova or Qualifier in round two . Provided Ana can overcome that hurdle, she could face 3th seed Francesca Schiavone in the third round, while compatriot Na li is a possible quarterfinals adversary.

Should she reach the last eight, Vera Zvonareva is in Semifinals . Ana is in the bottom right of the draw, so she cannot meet any player from the top half including top seed Caroline Wozniacki, No. 4 Victoria Azarenka , No. 7 Jelena Jankovic and Samantha Stosur

Ana in Cosmopolitan Serbia Interview

The following is a translated extract from the interview Ana gave to Cosmopolitan Serbia. She appears on the cover of the latest issue.
What are the positive qualities required to become a top tennis player?
I think that the most important thing is dedication – you really need to have an inner desire, and you must be prepared to make sacrifices in order to achieve your goals. Self-discipline is very important. Many people have the talent, but they aren’t willing or able to do the hard work.

It’s also important to have a strong support team. For me, my family have been the “rock” I could depend on. I turn to them frequently for advice and support, and they’ve never been anything but my biggest supporters. I owe them a lot.

You have probably given up many things during your career, what do you miss most?
Fortunately I am not so much a night owl, so I don’t miss out on nightlife – I love to go out for dinner, but I’m happy to return home rather than go to a club. I have a balanced diet, but I do try to watch what I eat, and I love chocolate – so I guess I can say that I wish I could eat it more often! But that’s such a small thing...

In general, sometimes I wish I could have more freedom. It’s not often, but occasionally I feel a little trapped, having such a regimental schedule – sometimes I just want to go to a desert island and forget about it all, and not follow a schedule! But I think everyone feels this way from time to time, no matter what your job.

How many times have you, like many of your peers, engaged in crazy nightlife until the early morning hours?
Almost never! I mean, I’ve visited some cool clubs, but I don’t think I’ve stayed out later than about 2am, 2.30am. And anyway I hardly drink, just one or two cocktails. I am confident you won’t be seeing photos of me falling over the pavement anytime soon!
Of course, it’s appropriate because I am an athlete and use my body for my job, but anyway it’s not my instinct to go out and get drunk. But still, I can go out and dance , have a good time with my friends, and enjoy myself. When I was in London recently I went to the club Whiskey Mist, which was fun – I took my brother and his friends along!

What are the three qualities your man must have?
I would say intelligence, empathy and good manners. I like sophisticated men, with whom I can have intellectual conversations.

Ana and Jelena: Traditions keep family

PAINTING eggs and traditional typing will continue in the home of our tennis champion.Although forced to spend during the holidays on the ground for several hours a day, practicing or playing matches, Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic are the time to preserve the tradition of Christian holidays and celebrations of Easter and how fitting.

After all, alone, in an interview for "Novosti", telling them this holiday is very important for it to bind more beautiful memories of our childhood. However, it is far from what the two of them wanted, because Belgrade is far from Stuttgart and Mallorca, and even the whole family will be able to be together, but it is a cruel price of professionalism that you have to pay.

* What do you associate with Easter holidays?

Jelena: Normally, reminds me of painting the eggs, then gather with the family. The most important thing is to be with their loved ones, because it means a lot. In recent years I have always during these holidays was in a tournament, separated from their families, so this is what I miss most. But, of course painting eggs is something irreplaceable when you mention Easter.

Ana: I really love a lot of Easter. It reminds me of childhood and coloring eggs, and of course beating eggs on Sunday morning when we all come together. I remember how as a small often within the family drew the egg tempera, we are just fond memories.

* How long have you been successful in typing, note whether a victory?

Jelena: Before you start typing, I always try to take some more or harder egg from the basket, and a bit of a cheat for that matter. Even I remember that I took some wooden eggs, "planted" them as ordinary, and so I managed to defeat them all and in pieces. But when it all ends, I leave to others to eat. I do not like to eat eggs, and if you have, then eat only egg whites.Yolk still throw, I do not like it. But I really like beating eggs.

Ana: I've never grips in it, that I remember. I always became more final. Brother, Milos has always been better at choosing the egg is firmer and will hold on until the very end. I do not know how alone he is going terribly, but often it grew the most successful.

* Where will this time to celebrate Easter holidays?

Jelena: The plan was to be Stuttgart, the tournament that I played. But as I stayed until Sunday, the idea was dropped into the water and we had to change plans. Will it be Belgrade or some other city, yet I do not know, but it is certain that I will spend Easter with my mom, and maybe we will be joined by older brother. However, we can not gather the whole family. Falica my younger brother, who is studying in America, in the final year of finance in Miami and will find time to visit us only in May, along with my dad. We will, therefore, this time in the half part.

Ana: As much as I love that I'm at home in Serbia during the holidays, unfortunately, this year I will be in Belgrade. Already in Mallorca, where I will be recovering from stomach muscle injury renewed, and after should I start and to train and prepare for the rest of the season on clay. M ama I will surely join, and maybe Dad. So I will, however, to spend Easter with their families.

* Due to constant traveling, such events are an opportunity to

spend more time with loved ones?

Deer: As a professional athlete, non-stop on a trip and not just for Easter, but for other holidays. But I'm aware that this is the price of my job. However, I can not wait to get together. It means so much to me and very'd like to have everyone together on some nice holidays such as Easter. It is priceless and I miss. But what there is.

Ana: Holidays mean a lot to me, not only because of all the festivities and traditions, but also because they often do not have the opportunity to just all be together. It's nice to feel the heat during the holidays the family home, and these are moments when your favorite together. This is an opportunity to make merry together.
