Ana reveals Olympic ambitions

Ana is hoping to compete in all three events for which she is eligible at next summer's Olympic Tennis Event.

Speaking ahead of the Mercury Insurance Open in San Diego, the 23-year-old revealed plans to team up with Bojana Jovanovski for the women's doubles competition, and with former men's doubles former No.1 Nenad Zimonjic for the mixed event.

Entry into the doubles competitions will depend on players' rankings in 12 months' time. As Serbian No.2 and No.3 at time of writing, Ana and Jovanovski are in a strong position to qualify. Meanwhile, competing nations are permitted two pairs of doubles teams in the mixed event.

However, Ana stressed that these are currently only plans: nothing is set in stone.

Ana last played mixed doubles alongside world No.1 Novak Djokovic at the Hopman Cup earlier this year. "It's so easy for us girls," she joked. "We just try to cover our one-third of the court.

Ana was forced to withdraw from the 2008 Beijing Olympics due to injury, an occurrence that she describes as "probably the lowest moment of my career".
