Ana put her recent injury problems behind her by advancing to the second round of the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open. She defeated Frenchwoman Virginie Razzano 7-6, 6-4 in an hour and 41 minutes.The 23-year-old was far from her best but did enough to see off the challenge of the world No.84, who had been a break up in the first set.
Ana takes on Britain's Anne Keothavong in round two on Thursday.
