Ana takes on defending champion and world No.6 Jelena Jankovic in the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open on Tuesdy. It will be the 10th meeting between the pair, with Ana leading the head-to-head series 6-3.
In their only previous meeting in Indian Wells, Ana beat her compatriot in straight sets in the 2008 semi-finals, on her way to the title. On outdoor hardcourts Ana has won two of their three matches.
The 23-year-old reached the last 16 with acomprehensive 6-2, 6-2 win over Barbora Zahlavova-Strycova, while Jankovic has also not dropped a set so far, beating Coco Vandeweghe and Julia Goerges in previous rounds.
