Ana this evening took part in a light hit atop the famous Galeries Lafayette department store in central Paris, to mark the official launch of this year's clay court Grand Slam. She was joined by Australian eighth seed Samantha Stosur and home favourites Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Richard Gasquet.
"The view up here is amazing," said Ana as she stepped off the mini-clay court. "You can see right across Paris, in every direction. I was trying to work out where some of the places I've visited over the years are."
Earlier in the day Ana had enjoyed a successful practice session in which she was able to hit backhands - the 23-year-old has been suffering from a left-wrist injury.
More from the event will be posted here shortly.
