Ana won the first Round in Australian Open

In the first round, Ana Ivanovic defeated Lourdes Dominguez Lino in straight sets 6-0, 6-3. The match lasted only 1 hour and 5 minutes. Ana played very well, converting 71% of her first serves with 4 aces and 0 double faults, 32 winners and 22 unforced errors.


 In the first set, Ana played virtually flawless tennis, taking advantage of all her opportunities. Ana converted 3 of her 4 break point opportunities while not facing any break points on her own serve. She won the first set in only 20 minutes with 15 winners and 7 unforced errors. 


 In the second set, Ana and Lourdes held serve until 4-3. Then Ana broke the serve of Lourdes in that game and comfortably served out the match at 40-15. Ana converted 1 of her 6 break point opportunities in that set. 


 In the second round, Ana will face Michaella Krajicek of the Netherlands, who defeated Kristina Barrois in two sets . They will play on Thursday.
