Boasting Adam Scott in her corner and a less complicated game plan, Serbian starlet Ana Ivanovic believes she's on her way ''back to the top''.The former world No1 is into the third round of the Australian Open for the loss of just eight games after powering past Michaella Krajicek 6-2, 6-3 yesterday.
''I feel like I'm getting into the tournament. It's nice to get some wins and be in contention to play against top players,'' Ivanovic said after burying Krajicek in barely an hour.
'I enjoy playing here. The last couple matches have been really lots of fun. It's been good to also apply things I worked on in off-season.
''I really tried to pick the right ball to come in and be aggressive. That's something I worked a lot on.''
The 24-year-old said new coach Nigel Sears, who linked with the 2008 Australian Open runner-up and French Open champion after Wimbledon last July, had given her newfound clarity and calmness on court.
''When I'm out there, I really know what I have to do and I stay with it,'' Ivanovic said.
''I'm more persistent and confident in that because I know that's what's going to give me results and help me to play better.
''It might not work on a given day and I try to adjust. In the long run ... that's what's going to get me back to the top.''The 21st seed said her new coaching set-up had made a world of difference.
''I feel really comfortable in the environment I have,'' she said.
''I think that's been the biggest change ... It was kind of radical because you always have so many people on your team, but I really feel it's helped my game a lot and my mental side as well.
''Ivanovic also credited Scott, with the sport's glamour couple reuniting last year after a two-year split.
''He's been at both of my matches. He's going to stay. It's great to have that support,'' the Serb said.
